Purpose of U.I. (University Identity) development
To enhance the perception level of this University externally with the visual design of its UI image while establishing its identity and declaring the purposes and target values of its foundation internally and externally.

UI Information
The new UI is designed to enhance the communication effect using it properly depending on circumstances by developing a Communication Mark in addition a Symbol Mark, which is a modification of the existing logo surpassing the previous single identity mode.
Symbol MarkThe symbol has been developed by renovating the existing symbol. It is utilized for such occasions as commencement or admission ceremonies where the school's academic prestige and history should be depicted and also used on degree certificates, outward official documents, and on other occasions where the school's administrative authority should be demonstrated.
Symbol Mark ConceptThe University’s symbol mark is created based on its precepts of truth, love and service that the University features.

The ‘wings’ signify ourservice to neighbors anywhere in the world
based on the word of Jesus Christ, “Love your neighbor as yourself”
(Mathew 22:39).In other words, it symbolizesthat the University fosters
the Sahmyook people who practice service and sharing
by utilizing health knowledge and techniques while pursuing truth.stick and snake
The ‘stick and snake,’ which are also used by theWorld Health
Organization and the American Medical Association,
signify ‘health’ or ourability to treat people and maintain health.
This signifies the bronze snake Moses made (Numbers 21:9).
It symbolizes the characteristics of this University that produces
health experts who look after people's healthunder the support
ofthe healing power of God, Source of Life.

The 'open book' signifies ‘truth’ and symbolizesthat
knowing God is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7).
It means that Sahmyook Health University is a school
that pursues truth leadingits studentsget to know about God,
the source of all knowledge as well as it teaches knowledge
of the world. 1936 means the year this University was founded.stretching out line
The ‘stretching out line’ symbolizesthat the
University fosters true workerswho with ‘God’s love’
will become the light of thedark world full of pain
