Department of Childcare focuses on field-oriented education where students may experience practice-centered contents required in fields in addition to theory-centered education based on systematic specialized curricula.
The department strives to produce daycare teachers equipped with both specializedknowledge and virtuous character traits by providing opportunities for continual rapport with expert personnel at daycare centersand for obtaining related qualification certificates.

Concentrations and Specialties

Courses include: Introduction to Childcare and Education to develop basic understanding and overall insight of childcare;Development of Young Children that studies curricula for providing childcare and educationservice based on child development stages;Child Observation and Behavior Research for acquiring concepts and skills required for observation and research of child behavior with systematic correct methods;

Child Safety Management researching safety education methods suitable to the characteristics of child development, management of safe environment of daycare centers, and detailed safety education;

Development and Evaluation of Childcare and Education Programs for Young Childrenresearch development and evaluation processes to their completion or perfection of operational processes of daycare centersand programs developed and implemented directly by teachers based on specifictheories or positions.
