Concentrations and Specialties

The department's curriculum consists of basic computer-related knowledge required to apply the computers and information systems (information and technologies) to medical information management systems; the understanding of basic medicine, pharmacology data, medical decision making, etc.; hospital management, and on-hand education concerning medical information systems which are actually used in hospital environment based on such knowledge.It also teaches medical systems ranging from the basic medicine for acquiring basic medical knowledge and terms to programming language for processing computer data, essential elements of information systems, database, Internet service for searching and providing data, network theories, multimedia, and knowledge for applying medical informatics to hospital planning, administration, financial management, etc.
